Summary
A listing's check-in time can be any hour from 8AM to 11PM, and its check-out time any hour from 10AM to 11PM. These are the hours Airbnb accepts, and Host Tools applies them to every listing, whichever channels it's on, so the listing's times still work if you later connect it to Airbnb or publish it there.
The listing's times are also used for the check-in and check-out time tags in your messages, for lock code timing, and for turnovers.
How to set the times
Click Listings in the main navigation and open the listing.
In the Check-in & Booking section, choose a Check-in Time and a Check-out Time. The dropdowns only offer hours inside the allowed range.
Click
Save.
FAQ
My listing already has a check-out time before 10AM. Will it change?
No. A listing that already has an earlier time keeps it, and you can keep saving the listing's other details. The field shows a note that the time is outside the allowed hours, and if you change it, you need to pick a time within the range. If the listing is on Airbnb, Host Tools doesn't send that earlier time to Airbnb, so Airbnb keeps the time it already has.
Why do I see "Check-out time must be between 10AM and 11PM"?
The check-out time you tried to save is outside 10AM to 11PM. Check-in works the same way with 8AM to 11PM. Pick a time in the range and save again.
Can one guest check in or out at a different time?
Yes. You can still set any check-in or check-out time on an individual reservation. See How do I edit the time a guest checks in or out?
