How do I keep my listing's calendars in sync across all channels?

Host Tools' availability syncing solves this by treating each connected channel for the same property as a single listing. As soon as a guest books on one channel, Host Tools blocks those dates on every other channel automatically.

Turning on availability syncing

Before you start, make sure all the channels for the property are connected to the same Host Tools listing. If a channel is showing up as a separate listing, follow How do I connect a new channel (Airbnb, VRBO, Houfy etc) to a listing? So Host Tools recognizes them as the same property.

  1. Click your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Choose Settings from the drop-down menu.

  3. From Settings > Listings, find the listing you want to sync and click its Settings button.

  4. Turn on the Enable Listing toggle.

  5. Make sure the Messaging Only toggle is off. When Messaging Only is on, Host Tools won't sync availability or pricing β€” it only handles automated messaging.

  6. Click Save.

Going forward, every new reservation on any connected channel will automatically block those dates on all the other channels for that listing.

Host Tools becomes your parent calendar

Once availability syncing is on, Host Tools becomes the source of truth β€” the "parent calendar" β€” for that listing.

⚠️ Important: Host Tools only pulls actual reservations from each connected channel. It will not recognize manually blocked days on those channels and will reopen them. Any dates you want blocked must be blocked directly on the Host Tools calendar.

Does this sync availability between two different properties?
