How do I add a listing group?

How to create a listing group on Host Tools, set its public turnover URL, and share an owner import link.

Written by Tom Krones

A listing group lets you manage several listings together. Grouped listings share message rules, sub-user access, and a turnover calendar.

Create a listing group

  1. Browse to the Settings page and choose Listing Groups from the menu on the left.

  2. Press Add Listing Group. The group opens on its own page.

  3. Under Group Details, enter a Listing Group Name. This is a private name to help you identify the group — guests never see it.

  4. Under Listings, choose which listings belong to the group.

  5. Press Save.

Public turnover calendar

The Public Turnover Calendar section gives you a shareable read-only URL showing check-in and check-out details for every listing in the group — handy for cleaners and turnover teams. Switch on Enable Public Turnover URL, press Save, then copy the link.

💡 Every listing in the group needs to be on the Pro plan for the public turnover URL to be available.

Owner import link

The Owner Import Link section gives you a link you can send to an owner so their listings are imported straight into this group. See how do I share an owner import link? for the full walkthrough.

Where your listing group appears

Once saved, the listing group is available under the Messaging menu at the top of the Host Tools dashboard. Any message rules added to the listing group are sent to guests staying at any of the listings in the group.

Edit or delete a group

Return to Settings > Listing Groups. Each group in the list has an actions menu with Edit, Edit Message Rules and Delete.
