How do I turn on dark mode?

Switch Host Tools between light and dark themes, or match your device's setting, on the web and mobile app.

Summary

Host Tools can be shown in a light or dark theme. Choose Light, Dark, or Match device to follow your computer or phone's own light/dark setting. Your choice is saved to your login, so it applies on both the web app and the mobile app.

Choosing your appearance on the web

  1. Click your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner and choose Settings.

  2. Go to Settings > Profile.

  3. In the Appearance section, choose Light, Dark, or Match device.

The new theme applies straight away. There is nothing to save.

Choosing your appearance in the mobile app

  1. Tap your profile picture at the top of the screen.

  2. Under Appearance, tap Light, Dark, or Match device.

What does "Match device" do?

Host Tools follows the light or dark setting on the computer or phone you're using. If your device switches to dark mode in the evening, Host Tools switches with it.

💡 If you haven't picked an appearance, Host Tools uses the light theme.

Does my choice change what my team or guests see?

No. Appearance is a personal setting for your own login. Other team members choose their own, and guests never see it.
