Know when guests have opened your Airbnb messages by checking the Read by indicator in the inbox.
⚠️ Important: Read receipts are available for Airbnb conversations only.
Check read receipts in the inbox
Go to Inbox.
Open a conversation for an Airbnb reservation.
Look below your sent message for a Read by line with the guest name.
If you do not see a read receipt, the guest has not opened the message yet.
Why don't I see a read receipt?
Read receipts only appear after the guest opens your message in Airbnb. If the guest has not opened it yet, the indicator will stay hidden.
