Summary
A listing in Host Tools can be connected to several channels at once — Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Houfy, and more — so one calendar, one set of prices, and one messaging setup drive every channel you sell on. When you import listings from a channel, Host Tools connects them to your existing listings automatically wherever the addresses match, and you can always connect a channel by hand.
Connecting a channel to an existing listing
Click your profile picture in the top right-hand corner.

When Host Tools connects listings for you automatically
When you import listings from a channel, Host Tools compares each incoming listing's address against the listings you already have. If one of them is a confident match, the channel is connected to that existing listing rather than a duplicate being created — the same result as pressing + on it yourself.
An address matches when the street number, street name, and postal code all agree, or when the two addresses sit within about 100 meters of each other and share the same street number. Only your own listings are considered, and only ones that don't already have that channel connected.
When the import finishes, you'll see a summary of what was connected, for example: "We automatically connected 1 channel listing to an existing listing by matching its address."
This applies everywhere listings are imported — the setup wizard, the Listings page in Settings, and an owner import link you've shared. For an owner import link, only the listings in that link's listing group are considered, so an owner can never affect the rest of your portfolio.
💡 Address matching relies on the address on each listing, so it works best when your listings have complete, accurate street addresses.
What happens if two of my listings share an address?
Nothing is guessed. If more than one of your listings is an equally good match — common in apartment buildings and multi-unit properties, where every unit shares one street address — the incoming listing is imported as a new listing instead. You can then press + on the correct listing and connect the channel yourself.
Which listing's name and photos are kept?
Your existing listing stays in charge. Its name, photos, and settings are kept exactly as they are, and the incoming listing's content is discarded. Only the channel connection is added — the same behavior as connecting a channel by hand.
Will re-importing a listing change where it's connected?
No. A listing you've already imported keeps updating its own record, so running an import again won't move it onto a different listing.
