How can I copy a pricing rule?

How to reuse a pricing rule you already created, including rules that block or open dates, on another listing.

Written by Tom Krones

Summary

Reuse a rule you have already built instead of setting one up again. Every pricing rule you create on any listing is saved as a custom template, so you can apply it to another listing in a few clicks.

Copy a rule to another listing

  1. Click Pricing in the header menu.

  2. Choose the listing you want to create a pricing rule for.

  3. Click Add Rule underneath the graph of your prices.

  4. Open the Templates drop-down and scroll down to the Custom section. This is the list of rules you have created on any of your listings.

  5. Choose the rule you want and every field is filled in for you. Adjust anything you need, then click Save.

Reusing a rule that blocks or opens dates

Rules that set Availability — the ones that block dates or make them available — appear in the Custom list alongside your price rules. Choosing one carries its Availability setting over with the rest of the fields, so you can reuse a blocking rule on another listing without building it again.

💡 A rule that blocks dates will not override dates you have blocked manually on your calendar.
